It seems that the pastel was selected at the very last moment for the exhibition at Galerie Maurs as it is not listed in the catalogue.¹ Unfortunately, this work was according to the statement of the damages "completely destroyed"² in the lorry crash on the 31 January 1948 during the transport to the exhibition.³
